Proverbs 1:15-19
"15. My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: 16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. 17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. 18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. 19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof."

Constantly we are told that money is a route of danger, dispair, and evil. Jesus himself drove out money changers twice from the temple. And not in a polite manner either. The Holy God took a whip and drove them out. It is that offensive to be making money out of his holy temple.
But why? Why is greed so terrible that we should obstain from it? Very simple, We begin to put our trust, faith, and value in numbers of wealth. That is a direct breaker of the 1st, 2nd , 8th, and 10th Commandments. And Greed undoubtably will bring you to break the other 6 as well.
I am sure it hurts God's heart to see men fight over petty dollar signs.

The biggest form of greed is slavery. Human life brought to a mere object. Life that God himself breathed into. Two of the biggest examples are. Joesph, who was sold into slavery by his brothers, and Jesus who was brought to the pharisees by Judas Iscariot.

But the biggest clicker here is. What is money?
Luke 12:15-24
"15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. 16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. 22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?"

Have you guys ever thought this? Money is so worthless anyone is willing to give it up for anything. It is true, Money has no real value. Even the American dollar holds no real value. It is only paper, printed at the mercy of that demonic federal reserve. Even the stuff it buys will mean nothing when we are dead. As God said in the parable. Soloman a rich king even stated the problems of wealth

Ecclesiastes 5:10-16
10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity. 11 When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes? 12 The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep. 13 There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt. 14 But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand. 15 As he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. 16 And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?

There is no satifaction in wealth. Obtained by either work or inheritence. It is all vain in the end. I've heard of stock brokers rolling in the dough after working hard and long hours. Bankers trying their hardest to sell debt. Investors at the ready to pull funds from a project that will not net them a profit. Politicans that will sit in their seats not say a word, and then react when elections are up. Gamblers spending countless hours at a casino in las vegas to loss all. What is there to money? Nothing but same as all workers, death.

So what is the purpose of money?
Exodus 35:22
"And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the L ORD."
Proverbs 13:22
"A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just."
Ecclesiastes 7:11-12
"11 ¶ Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun. 12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it."
Matthew 19:20-24
"20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. 23 ¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."
Matthew 25:34-40
"34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

The purpose of money is to show graditude to God, and others less fortunite. If we are keeping money for ourselves. We are simply missing the point of purchase. We are to Give, Invest, and leave an inheritence to our posterity. That is what capitialism is.

Here's the passage of the Ten commandments. As I mentioned them ealier.
Deuteronomy 5:1-21
"1. AND Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. 2 The L ORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The L ORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. 4 The L ORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire, 5 (I stood between the L ORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the L ORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 6 ¶ I am the L ORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me. 8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: 9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the L ORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, 10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. 11 Thou shalt not take the name of the L ORD thy God in vain: for the L ORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the L ORD thy God hath commanded thee. 13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: 14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the L ORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. 15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the L ORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the L ORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day. 16 ¶ Honour thy father and thy mother, as the L ORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the L ORD thy God giveth thee. 17 Thou shalt not kill. 18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery. 19 Neither shalt thou steal. 20 Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour. 21 Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s."

I'll close with this. What is the greatest inheritance?
Deuteronomy 10:9
"Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the L ORD is his inheritance, according as the L ORD thy God promised him."
Psalm 94:14
"For the L ORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance."
Mark 1:15
"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
