What is temple os.
Temple OS is a 64-bit 16-Color 640x480 key ring 0 public domain operating system dedicated to God. It is made in a custom programming language called holy C. It is fast and can render 3d models like a pro. It's features are a few video games, a commandline programming language, and it’s killer app a music composing software called Psalmody. All made by one man, Terry.
Who is Terry?
Terry A, Davis Also known as God’s Programmer, or 8ch’s Schizo. Was a smart programmer who mentally snapped hard. He was born and raised catholic, then he became an atheist with REALLY GOOD programming skills. Then God came to him, and said “I hope you like tourettes”. He then went to make Losethos(Early TempleOS). Before becoming a lolcow on tech boards. Down the rabbit hole has a good video on this.
As you can tell it seemed like he thought God was a space alien directly talking to him.
As Frederik mentioned in his lengthy video. Terry went to the next life via choo-choo.
Stance on Christianity:
I don’t believe Terry was a true born again believer. Here is an exerp from wikipedia - “"I started seeing people following me around in suits and stuff. It just seemed something was strange."[5] He started donating large sums of money to charity organizations, something he had never done before. Later, he surmised, "that act [probably] caused God to reveal Himself to me and saved me."”
We are not saved by donating money,
Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Further more He states his stance on creation vs evolution. If you go to help, and F.A.Q. You'll see he claims evolutionist.
That being said I do like his stance on the KJV. As the newer “Bible versions” are indeed directed by men words rather than God’s.
Why is it important.
Terry’s life and project has planted the seed of God in Lolcow and hacking communities. Secondly his OS has gotten people interested in low level programming. I myself I’m trying to figure out how to work the text-editor. If you have any programs send them to me. Thirdly this guy has quotes to repeat. While some of it is entertaining, others do provide programming, and even advice for life. Finally it’s a look into an incredible real story, a dive into a madman’s life and thoughts.
